EQuALLS2 and National Book Store Foundation distribute books and learning kits to madrasah students

Grade school students from two madaris (Arabic schools) in Malapatan, Sarangani province receive books, dictionaries, and school supplies from the EQuALLS2 Project and partner National Book Store Foundation.

EQuALLS2 and partner National Book Store Foundation (NBSF) turned over books and learning kits to two madaris (Arabic schools) in Malapatan, Sarangani Province on August 12, 2010. 
 
EQuALLS2 handed over to the Bilal Bin Rabah Islamic Center and the Madrasah Al-Arabiyah Al-Islamiyah Inc. books from US-based Brother's Brother Foundation, the world's largest private donor of books from some of the world's most renowned publishers, and Merriam-Webster Elementary Dictionaries  from USAID and NBSF.
 
NBSF also turned over student kits with pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and notebooks to the two schools.
 
A total of 2,988 students from the 21 EQuALLS2-assisted madaris in Mindanao will receive books and learning kits from the project and NBSF.
